This concluding chapter reviews the dialectic of pedagogy and political ideology in Madagascar and beyond. It argues that the problems that plague Madagascar also typify other countries. This chapter also presents a critique that insists on the inseparability of history and political consciousness as the basis for informing an understanding of the agency of African youth.
