More than 25 new books have just been added to California Scholarship Online (CALSO), adding to the Anthropology, Film, Television, and Radio, History, Music, Religion, and Sociology modules.
These books explore a diverse range of subjects, from an ethnographic study of China’s Han Clothing Movement to a worldwide perspective on the birth and development of the field of sexual science, and from the story of how Muslims interpreted and reinterpreted hadith across a millennium to the harrowing and heartwarming accounts of a group of black and Latina/o youth's transition to adulthood as they try to obtain upward social mobility.
