He then states that he made it into the second most selective school in the city, the Bronx High School of Science. He then talks of the various changes that had been taking place in his life aside from life at school. Next, he describes his new neighbourhood. He notes of his parents acute opposite reactions after Jerome was shot. He then tells of the social predicament he experienced.
