Jeanne Guillemin

This chapter revisits some of the people the author had previously interviewed on the anthrax epidemic. It reveals that the families of the victims do not think of the past anymore, and then considers their views about the future. The chapter notes that the old repressions are quickly dissolving as communication flows through many channels, and that the globalizing world does not show any signs of becoming more egalitarian or of promoting justice, also stressing that the fear of poverty also fuels the fear of terrorism.

Keywords:   old repressions, communication, globalizing world, egalitarian, poverty, justice, terrorism
