This chapter discusses electoreception in aquatic tetrapods. It gives a brief overview of the physics of electroreception, and then identifies aquatic tetrapods with electrosense abilities. It also describes the presence of electroreceptors in aquatic tetrapods and examines their function as an electrosensory antenna. It then investigates electroreception with respect to prey detection.
